As an Educator and successful Haitian-American, I must continue to push forward more aggressively with my commitment to the people of Haiti in this tragic aftermath of the 7.0 earthquake. This catastrophe has been devastating and disheartening for everyone, including myself, who has lost friends and family. Over the years, I have provided for many needy families and donated thousands of dollars annually to help disadvantaged people. However, it is with this recent crisis that I have formed the Ameri-West Indian Society, which over time, will make a difference in partnership, health, community, development, and most of all, education. The education we provide will aid them in rebuilding lives, hope, and a better tomorrow.
This organization will provide aid and assistance to many in need. With this premise, Ameri-West Indian Society will prosper as a foundation of partnerships. Over the past seven years, I have successfully owned and operated two schools in the Florida area, Poly Healthcare Training Center and the J & J Healthcare Institute, Inc. Today, these schools are expanding and doing exceptionally well. As Founder and CEO, I have committed to indefinitely contributing 5% net profit from both of these businesses towards the Ameri-West Indian Society. I am personally extending an invitation to one and all to join us in the Ameri-West Indian organization to create the most prominent non-profit, faith-based business, where we can achieve not just a short-term goal but to create a long-term purpose to reach millions of people all over the world.
Our short-term objective will encompass support to any country in crisis. This will include temporary shelters, food, transportation, clothing, emergency child care, and medical supplies. We take great pride in our collaborative approach, which is why our ultimate goal for our long-term projects will be to educate and encourage the youth of tomorrow to become leaders in all aspects of life. Ameri-West Indian Society will provide community referral programs, free health screening, free public seminars, and accessible literacy programs while educating the people on health care issues & prevention. In closing, I want to say that I am most excited about our discussion to provide a haven for our less fortunate. I encourage people worldwide to make a difference in the lives of others. Come and join us!
Thank you,
Florence Polynice
